Administrative Assistant - Dentistry at Lifestyles

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (7:00-5:00)

Tuesday (11:00-7:30)

Overview:

We are looking for a candidate who can confidently engage with patients and collaborate effectively with the team, all while managing multiple tasks seamlessly. Key responsibilities include handling phone calls, booking appointments, processing payments, submitting insurance claims, and organizing daily schedules for dentists and hygienists. Experience in a dental office, familiarity with Dentrix and RecallMax, and a solid understanding of insurance procedures and the CDCP program are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them

  • Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps

  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database

  • Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations

  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts


About You:

  • Prior experience administrative experience in a dental office setting required

  • Minimum 1+ years of general administration experience required

  • Experience with Dentrix and RecallMax an asset

  • Knowledge of CDCP program highly preferred
