Dental Office Administrative Assistant - Dentistry on Liverpool

Conveniently located at 927 Liverpool Road in Pickering. 

Schedule: Full-Time

  • 32 - 40 hours per week
  • One to two (1-2) evenings per week until 8 pm (Tuesday and/or Thursday)
  • Two (2) Saturdays per month
  • Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them
  • Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database
  • Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations
  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts
  • File insurance claims and processes patient payments


About You:

  • 2+ years of prior administrative experience in a dental office required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; strong customer service orientation
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in using dental software
