PURPOSE

Full-Time Administrator Required. The Practice Administrator is instrumental in the day to day running of our Orthodontic Practice and is responsible for a number of key areas.


PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY      

  1. Optimal Patient Care and Experience
  2. Practice Administration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors, plans and assists reception employee in the effective scheduling of the appointment book, ensuring maximization of productivity for the day
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing Accounts Receivables
  • Ensures banking is completed on a daily basis
  • Liaison with insurance companies and patients, ensuring claims are sent to all providers with accuracy and obtaining payment
  • Support front desk staff by greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner, and answering phones during peak times and ensuring the practice is running smoothly
  • Maintains office supplies and replenishes as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Track record managing operations of a large busy dental practice
  • Detailed understanding of the drivers of a successful practice from a process, financial, analytical and people management standpoint
  • Comprehensive understanding and passion for the dental industry and optimal patient care
  • Customer service mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Treatment Co-ordination experience is considered an asset
