A dentalcorp dental practice in Northern Alberta is accepting applications for a full-time Dental Receptionist.
POSITION: Full-Time Dental Receptionist
Full-Time Dental Receptionist Required. (1-year contract). The Dental Receptionist is instrumental in the day to day running of our practice and is responsible for a number of key areas including but not limited to the following:
- Optimal Patient Care and Experience
- Practice Administration
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors, plans and assists reception employee in the effective scheduling of the appointment book, ensuring maximization of productivity for the day
- Responsible for monitoring and reviewing Accounts Receivables
- Ensures banking is completed on a daily basis
- Liaison with insurance companies and patients, ensuring claims are sent to all providers with accuracy and obtaining payment
- Support front desk staff by greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner, and answering phones during peak times and ensuring the practice is running smoothly
- Maintains office supplies and replenishes as necessary
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Track record managing operations of a large busy dental Practice
Detailed understanding of the drivers of a successful practice from a process, financial, analytical and people management standpoint
Comprehensive understanding and passion for the dental industry and optimal patient care
Customer service mindset
Exceptional communication skills
Treatment Co-ordination experience is considered an asset
