Recipient of the 2020 Dr. Gary Glassman Endodontic Achievement Award Announced

Dr. Jessica Yu Hsuan Hung selected based on academic and clinical excellence
Toronto, ON – October 7, 2020 – Dr. Jessica Yu Hsuan Hung has been selected as the first recipient of the Dr. Gary Glassman Endodontic Achievement Award.
Established in 2019, this endowment fund was created to honour dentalcorp Chief Dental Officer Dr. Gary Glassman for his lifelong commitment to dentistry and to recognize and support graduating dental students at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Hung was selected by an undergraduate awards committee comprised of faculty and staff, who reviewed each candidate submitted for consideration. Based on her outstanding academic and clinical proficiency in endodontics, Dr. Hung was chosen as the recipient of this coveted award.
“I want to extend my warmest congratulations to Dr. Hung on her exceptional achievement,” said Dr. Glassman. “It is vital that we, as practitioners and educators, recognize and nurture the next generation of clinicians. Dr. Hung embodies the excellence and innovation that we need to foster for the benefit of the practice community and the industry as a whole.”
Dr. Glassman is a world-renowned, practicing endodontist, global lecturer, and instructor in dentistry at the University of Toronto. He is also a University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry alumnus.
