Three outstanding students in oral healthcare awarded full tuition and career opportunities in their chosen field

TORONTO, ON – May 21, 2021 – dentalcorp, Canada’s largest and leading network of dental clinics, has announced the 2021 winners of its national scholarship program that supports the next generation of oral healthcare professionals.
Now in its second year, the dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award awards its recipients with full tuition reimbursement and a multi-year contract at a dentalcorp practice. To qualify, students must be in their final year of study in dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental assisting programs at Canadian institutions and be selected from a pool of applicants based on academic accomplishments, extracurricular involvement, and the embodiment of dentalcorp core values.

2021 dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award winners:

Natalie Rubinger, Western University, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
Megan Boyer, Oulton College, Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Giana Ford, Okanagan College, Certified Dental Assisting Program

“It was incredibly rewarding to watch last year’s talented winners embark on their career journeys with us,” said Guy Amini, dentalcorp President. “We are excited to be able to recognize our 2021 winners for their incredible achievements and welcome them into our practice network,” continued Amini.

It can be a struggle for students to balance debt loads while seeking to start and develop their careers in a highly competitive market – all while facing the additional challenges arising from the pandemic. With the dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award, students can graduate debt-free and embark on a rewarding career path with a dentalcorp practice right away.

The dentalcorp Academic Excellence Award is an annual program available to all graduating students of Canadian accredited colleges or universities who are majoring in dental assisting, dental hygiene, or dentistry. Students can apply for the 2022 award beginning January 4th, 2022 at acadamicexcellenceaward.com.
