National recognition program celebrates oral care professionals making a difference in their communities

TORONTO – September 1, 2021 – dentalcorp, Canada’s largest and fastest-growing network of dental practices, announced that nominations for the 2021 Leaders in Practice awards are now open.

Now in its fourth year, the annual Leaders in Practice award program celebrates oral care professionals who are passionate about providing optimal patient care and making a difference in the lives of Canadians.

“It’s important to recognize and celebrate the exemplary dental professionals in our lives who go above and beyond every day to support their patients, communities, and broader industry, especially during this challenging pandemic,” said Dr. Gary Glassman, Chief Dental Officer, dentalcorp. “We look forward to celebrating the contributions of our oral care peers this year.”

Leaders in Practice encourages Canadians across the country to nominate oral care professionals who actively demonstrate the values of unity, innovation, accountability, courage and caring. Winners in each of the eight nomination categories including principal dentist, dental hygienist, and dental assistant, will receive a cash prize up to $5,000 as well as a full-page feature in Oral Health Journal’s April 2022 issue.

Nominations are being accepted at leadersinpractice.ca now through the November 30th deadline. After a public voting period from January 4-31st, program winners will be announced in April 2022.
