TORONTO, ON – August 11, 2022 – Graduating University of Toronto (U of T) dental student Dr. Saman Salehizalani has earned the 2022 Dr. Gary Glassman Endodontic Achievement Award.
The endowment fund is now in its third year and was created by U of T alumnus and internationally celebrated endodontist Dr. Gary Glassman. The fund recognizes graduating students of U of T’s Faculty of Dentistry who show excellent promise in the specialty of endodontics.
“As healthcare providers and educators, we need to nurture the continued growth and development of tomorrow’s clinicians for the betterment of our patients, practice communities, and the broader field of dentistry,” said Dr. Glassman, Chief Dental Officer, dentalcorp. “It is my sincere pleasure to recognize Dr. Salehizalani who demonstrated academic and clinical excellence, exemplary skill, focus, and commitment as an emerging endodontist.”
Dr. Salehizalani was selected by the school’s undergraduate awards committee for demonstrating outstanding academic and clinical proficiency in endodontics.

Willmott Scholarship, the Mosby Scholarship and the George Hare Endodontic Scholarship for proficiency in Endodontics. A graduate of the Endodontology Program at Temple University, he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics.
Dr. Glassman serves as Faculty Chair of DC Institute, a continuing education provider that supports the growth and development of dental care professionals through elevated learning experiences.
