Patient Care Coordinator - Dentalhouse Glen Abbey

Conveniently located on Upper Middle Road West, dentalhouse Glen Abbey has been serving the Oakville community for over 20 years! Our dentists and dental professionals take great pride in maintaining a comfortable and accommodating experience for all our patients and their families. We offer a wide range of comprehensive services, including preventative hygiene, cosmetic and general dentistry, orthodontics, and more!

Schedule:
Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

One Saturday a month: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them

  • Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps

  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database

  • Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, cofirmtions, amendments and cancellations

  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts


About You:

  • Minimum 1 year of administration experience

  • Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset

  • Dentrix experience considered an asset
