Patient Care Coordinator

Our team of dentists is highly respected in the field, known for delivering exceptional care in a welcoming and calming environment. We are currently seeking a full-time, Patient Care Coordinator to join our team and support our office administration. If you love working with people, and have a high level of organization and attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule:
Full time hours. 4 days per week.

No evenings or weekends
The wage range is from $27 to $32 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them
Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database
Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations
Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts
About You:
Minimum 1 year of administration experience is required.
Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset
