Quality, Risk and Compliance Coordinator

This position will be located in Dentalcorp’s Support Centre at 181 Bay Street, Toronto and will report to the Director of Regulatory Compliance. The Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Risk and Compliance Team within a dynamic and fast-growing healthcare organization. The role will be responsible for delivering exceptional administrative support through calendar management, drafting professional correspondence, and efficiently coordinating internal and external meetings. In addition to these administrative responsibilities, the Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the Compliance Team by supporting key initiatives related to provincial healthcare regulations, professional registrations and licensure, and the maintenance and acquisition of practice permits.

In this role, you will

  • Prepare communications on behalf of clinicians, partners, and practice managers to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Monitor and assign incoming Compliance tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage Compliance and Risk team inboxes, triaging emails and directing inquiries to appropriate team members.
  • Submit weekly Compliance Performance Updates (Weekly Bites) on behalf of the team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Process, track, and manage all Compliance and Risk Management invoices using the Coupa procurement system.
  • Support presentation development, educational sessions, and maintain proper document management and retention practices.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, conduct research under the supervision of the Team’s professionals, and assist with various administrative tasks.
  • Create and manage content for Compliance and Risk Communications, including English-to-French translations.
  • Stay current with dental health regulations to support communication with regulatory bodies and assist with policy development.
  • Support with applications and registrations to governing bodies

What we're looking for

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline, providing a strong foundation in healthcare administration and compliance
  • Ability to learn relevant laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks within the dental and healthcare industry
  • Experience working in the dental industry would be a huge asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to meet tight, mandated deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in driving process improvements and managing small to medium-scale projects independently
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and autonomy in decision-making, with the ability to navigate confidential and sensitive issues with tact and discretion
  • A reliable team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment, effectively supporting varied internal stakeholders
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset
  • Experience in dental settings an asset
